COSTA RICA

Costa Rica is a country in Central America known for its beautiful landscape, adventurous terrains, extremely rich culture and touristic sites. Costa Rica, which means “Rich Coast”, constitutionally abolished its army permanently in 1949. It is the only Latin American country included in the list of the world’s 22 older democracies. Costa Rica is cited by the United Nations as one of the countries that has attained much higher human development than other countries at the same income levels. The country is ranked 3rd in the world, and 1st among the Americas, in terms of the 2010 Environmental Performance Index.

EL SALVADOR
El Salvador is the smallest and the most densely populated country that lies in the heart of Central America. In English, El Salvador means The Savior. It is currently undergoing rapid industrialization. El Salvador borders the Pacific Ocean between Guatemala and Honduras and lies on the Gulf of Fonseca, as do Honduras and Nicaragua further south.
